If you purchase or transfer your domain through ThatWorx, it is registered in your name. You always own your domain. ThatWorx manages the hosting and technical side, but the domain is yours.
Simple text edits are included in the Local Business and Growth Partner plans. More significant changes — new sections, pages, redesigns — are handled as managed updates or custom projects. We handle the editing so you can stay focused on running your business.
Yes — Local Launch is month-to-month. There is no long-term contract, and you can cancel anytime. Setup fees are generally non-refundable once your site has been provisioned. Canceling stops future billing; it does not automatically refund months already paid.
You always own your business content — your name, logo, photos, and copy. After 12 months of continuous paid Local Launch service, ownership of the website build transfers to you (third-party licenses like fonts or plugins still apply). If you cancel before 12 months, ThatWorx retains ownership of the site build and hosting account. On request, we can provide an export of the content you supplied.
Yes. Every plan includes managed WordPress hosting, SSL security, and regular maintenance. You do not need a separate hosting account.
Email hosting (like yourname@yourbusiness.com) is not included in standard Local Launch packages. We can recommend and assist with email setup through Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, or your domain registrar as a separate service.
